Role Details

Position: DevOps Automation Engineer (Junior)
Location: Pune, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience: 2–4 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of infrastructure code in lab environments
• Design and maintain automated test cases for stable features
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on integrations and deployments
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across network, OS, and CI/CD systems
• Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and reliability
• Document issues and system behaviors

Technical Skills Required

Systems & OS

• Strong experience with Linux and multi-OS environments

Programming & Scripting

• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting

DevOps & Cloud

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Understanding of infrastructure testing and automation

Containers & Orchestration

• Experience with Docker / LXC containers
• Exposure to Kubernetes or OpenShift

Configuration & Monitoring

• Familiarity with Ansible
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana

Networking

• Strong understanding of DNS, TCP, DHCP, Firewalls, VPNs

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of network security (IPsec, NAT, ACLs, Layer 7 filtering)
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset

Eligibility Criteria

• 2–4 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of DevOps and infrastructure concepts
• Passion for automation and continuous improvement
