Job Description

GenC - Job Description

  • Understand business requirements, raise clarifications, create documents.
  • Develop, maintain, test, debug, and deploy code as per requirement specifications.
  • Understand data requirements and develop test scenarios.
  • Work in an Agile environment, delivering deliverables within SDLC.
  • Create low-level design for components.
  • Identify and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Take ownership to deliver on specified goals efficiently.
  • Participate in project meetings and technical sessions.
  • Continuously upskill and cross-skill to new technologies.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 2025 batch of B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech eligible to apply (except streams like Leather Technology, Food Technology, Fashion Technology, etc.).
  • Minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed).
  • No standing arrears at the time of joining.
  • Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and technology.
  • Open to Indian nationals/OCIs residing in India.
  • Communication will only be sent to the registered mail ID in Superset.

Mandatory Documents for Registration:

  • Resume attached with the latest passport-size photograph.
  • Industry-accredited certificates (if available).

Mandatory Documents for Interview:

  • All academic documents including college ID card (if available), school/college, UG and PG marksheets, provisional/degree certificate.

Mandatory Documents for Onboarding:

  • PAN card (for onboarding, accurate details must be provided).
  • Voter ID card / Passport for citizenship verification.

GenC Next

Students should be technically proficient, with advanced programming and full-stack abilities. Industry-accredited certifications in the following are required:

  • Java, C#, Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), Python, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Structures, Advanced Python, Spring Boot, and more.

GenC Pro

Students should have expertise in enterprise platforms/products/technologies, such as:

  • Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, ServiceNow.
