About the Role

Cognizant is hiring a Cloud Native Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Entra ID. You will be responsible for managing secure workload identities, deploying cloud-native services, and implementing security policies in complex, hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy workload identity features within cloud ecosystems
• Manage Workload Identity Federation for secure on-premises to GCP access
• Integrate identities with containerized and serverless workloads
• Automate identity provisioning and deprovisioning
• Implement security best practices for workload access
• Manage Entra ID Protection to detect and remediate identity-based risks
• Apply conditional access policies for workload identities
• Deploy and manage Managed Identities, Service Principals
• Work with SPIFFE/SPIRE for secure workload identity across hybrid environments
• Collaborate with Dev and Ops teams for workload IAM onboarding
• Investigate and resolve workload identity-related security issues
