Role Details

Position: DevOps Engineer (Lead)
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Work Type: Full-Time
Experience: 6+ Years (Minimum 2 years in a lead role)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of DevOps engineers
• Provide technical guidance, performance reviews, and training
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure 24/7 operational coverage

Platform Support

• Oversee day-to-day platform and infrastructure operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
• Maintain system documentation and knowledge base

DevOps Implementation & Automation

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments

Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Monitor system and application performance, identify improvement areas
• Implement performance tuning strategies
• Analyze logs and metrics to identify trends and prevent issues

Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications
• Manage access control and user permissions
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements for DevOps efficiency
• Promote best practices across the team and organization
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps technologies and trends

• Strong DevOps principles and hands-on experience
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Scripting: Bash, Python
• Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
