About the Role
ClearGrid is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to build, automate, secure, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure powering next-generation AI-driven financial technology solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on modern cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, security engineering, and highly scalable production systems.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, data teams, platform specialists, and security professionals to improve deployment velocity, infrastructure reliability, operational excellence, and platform scalability. You will play a critical role in ensuring that cloud environments remain secure, resilient, compliant, and optimized for performance.
This position is ideal for engineers passionate about Cloud Computing, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Automation, Kubernetes, and FinTech innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Improve platform availability, reliability, and performance
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and operational efficiency
- Implement highly available architectures for critical business applications
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and automation frameworks
- Create reusable infrastructure modules and deployment templates
- Standardize provisioning processes across environments
- Improve infrastructure consistency and governance
CI/CD & Release Automation
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes
- Improve software delivery efficiency and deployment reliability
- Support GitOps and modern release engineering practices
Kubernetes & Container Platforms
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Optimize container orchestration environments
- Improve workload scalability and fault tolerance
- Support microservices-based application architectures
Monitoring & Observability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Create dashboards for infrastructure and application visibility
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production incidents
- Enhance observability across cloud-native environments
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices
- Manage IAM policies, access controls, and encryption standards
- Support compliance requirements for regulated financial systems
- Improve platform security posture through automation and governance

- Strong understanding of CI/CD automation pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts including DNS, VPCs, firewalls, and load balancing
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting FinTech applications
