Job Description:

Summary of the Role:

CGI is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer to support and maintain applications hosted on cloud platforms. The role involves:

• Troubleshooting production issues
• Supporting cloud-based release pipelines
• Coordinating with various global teams
• Performing Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) on new technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support applications deployed in AWS and Azure
• Automate operational and release activities using scripting (Bash/Python)
• Administer Windows and Linux systems
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues using tools like Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Grafana
• Handle on-call support in a follow-the-sun model

• AWS Cloud Services
• Linux System Administration
• Kubernetes, Helm
• Bash / Python scripting
• Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Good understanding of:
  • Networking basics
