We’re looking for engineers who are passionate about automated testing and software engineering. As a Software Engineering Associate, you will contribute to agile squads, writing code for tests, configuring test automation tools, and analyzing test results to ensure high-quality software for BT’s TV customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts within an agile squad
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC (design, test, release)
• Write maintainable code and ensure the best testing practices are followed
• Analyze results from automated tests and generate meaningful reports for stakeholders
• Innovate with testing tools to improve automation and test efficiency
• Work with real-world data to spot patterns and potential issues for better customer experiences

Skills You’ll Need

Mandatory:

• Test automation technologies (TDD, BDD, CI)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or similar
• Ability to work with agile methodologies
• Exposure to Unix/Linux environments
• Strong analytical skills to interpret test results

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with test tools and automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of network solutions
