Job Description
BT Group is seeking a motivated Cloud-DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on building and maintaining cloud-native platforms and automation solutions using open-source tools, driving rapid delivery through CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native software release platforms.
- Developing automation scripts and pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker, Ansible, Helm, and Shell scripting.
- Managing containerization with Kubernetes (On-Prem).
- Utilizing Git, Nexus, and Harbor for repository management.
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues and debugging.
- Collaborating in Agile teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Engaging with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with REST Webservices, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- CI/CD pipeline design and management (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Sonar).
- Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Neo4j).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
- Understanding of cloud concepts including OpenStack and SDN.
- Ability to design scalable distributed service architectures.
