Bread Financial is hiring a Systems Cloud Engineer 2 to lead enterprise infrastructure projects and cloud operations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in AWS, Azure, VMware, and Infrastructure Automation, looking to join a growing, award-winning FinTech company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Horizon) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Monitor and maintain systems using tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Datadog
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Respond to incidents, resolve issues, and manage vendor escalations
- Plan capacity, manage end-of-life schedules, and track vendor deliverables
- Produce documentation for deployments, audits, and compliance reviews
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
- Virtualization: VMware ESXi, Horizon
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Monitoring: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong technical background in cloud computing, virtualization, and infrastructure design
- Hands-on with enterprise systems monitoring and automation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
