📝 The Role

Plaxis/Seequent (a Bentley Systems company) is seeking a Geotechnical Support Engineer to help users worldwide solve complex geotechnical challenges using PLAXIS software. You’ll support construction projects involving foundations, deep excavations, tunnels, dikes, and offshore constructions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Assist users in selecting appropriate geotechnical and numerical modeling techniques.
• Explain complex finite element model results.
• Teach theoretical software backgrounds for accurate result interpretation.
• Provide technical support via phone, forums, video calls, and web tickets.
• Troubleshoot functionality issues, system setups, and enhancement requests.
• Serve as a liaison between users and product development teams.
• Conduct web-based training, write white papers, and validate software results.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations.

🛠️ Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• BSc/MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of engineering-related experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Practical experience with PLAXIS or similar geotechnical finite element software.
• Strong problem-solving, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
