Role Details

Position: Cloud Operations Engineer
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience: 3–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Operations & Support

• Monitor and support cloud infrastructure and applications
• Handle alerts, incidents, and service requests
• Maintain system uptime as per SLA requirements

Infrastructure & Systems

• Support servers, networking, and appliances in datacenter & cloud
• Perform patching, configuration updates, and upgrades
• Handle hardware replacements (RAM, HDD, RAID, etc.)

Monitoring & Automation

• Set up and fine-tune monitoring systems
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency

Cloud & Platform Support

• Work with AWS, Azure, GCP, and datacenter environments
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, containers, Linux & Windows systems

Incident & Process Management

• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations
• Perform incident management and root cause analysis
• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation

Technical Skills Required

Cloud Platforms

• Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP

Containers & Orchestration

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments

Monitoring Tools

• Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, PagerDuty

Systems & Virtualization

• Knowledge of Linux, Windows Servers
• Experience with KVM, VMware, Proxmox

Networking

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, WAF

Scripting & Tools

• Shell scripting, Git
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL (plus)

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure support
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Willingness to work in shift-based environment
