Job Description:

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will ensure high system reliability, uptime, and performance. Your responsibilities include developing monitoring systems, leading incident response, automating tasks, and collaborating with development and operations teams to optimize infrastructure and security.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure system reliability and uptime
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting tools
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency
• Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Perform capacity planning and resource scaling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain documentation and best practices
• Optimize system and application performance
• Ensure compliance with security standards
• Define and monitor SLOs and SLAs aligned with business goals
• Drive continuous improvements in processes and systems
• Establish guidelines and policies supporting Data Lake infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (1-3 years experience) OR Bachelor’s degree (3-5 years experience) OR Diploma (8+ years experience) in CS/Engineering
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming/scripting
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration
• Hands-on with cloud platforms: AWS, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana
• CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills
• Security principles and compliance understanding
• Database management (SQL and NoSQL)
• Performance optimization and backup solutions
