Role Overview

This role focuses on L1 monitoring and operational support for production trading applications and infrastructure.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, uptime, and smooth functioning of trading systems in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level monitoring and engineering support
• Monitor and maintain production trading applications
• Work with Linux-based systems
• Use basic networking tools such as ping, traceroute
• Perform basic scripting in Bash or Python
• Participate in operational shift cycles
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues proactively

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of strong hands-on experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in Linux environments
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Systematic problem-solving mindset with ownership and accountability
• Prior exposure to financial trading systems is a plus
