Role Overview:
As a Product Support Engineer II, you will be a key member of the Global Customer Support team. You’ll work on complex security and networking problems, help reproduce issues, and assist engineering teams with product improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-line support via phone/email for debugging advanced network/security issues.
- Reproduce customer issues and provide detailed feedback to engineering.
- Document solutions in the technical support knowledge base.
- Collaborate with team members and promote continuous learning.
- Understand product direction and influence product/coding improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in supporting networking or web security products.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Unix, or FreeBSD.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with tools like Ping, Traceroute, MTR.
- Familiarity with protocols: HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS.
- Working knowledge of enterprise security/networking infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Zscaler products.
- Knowledge of scripting (SHELL, Python).
