Job Summary

Zelis is modernizing the U.S. healthcare financial experience through cutting-edge technology platforms that serve over 750 payers and millions of providers. Join their growing India team as a Release Engineer and take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, ML workflows, and automated deployment processes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage release processes for data pipelines, ML workflows, and cloud components
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Coordinate deployments across global teams in different time zones
• Automate release workflows using scripting (Python, Shell) and tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Troubleshoot release failures, manage rollbacks, and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain consistent multi-environment configurations (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod)
• Create runbooks, release notes, and deployment guides for repeatable processes
• Provide L2/L3 support for production releases alongside DataOps teams
• Monitor post-release health and performance of deployed applications

Required Skills

• Hands-on with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash/Shell)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Understanding of data engineering and ETL pipeline deployment
• Experience working in distributed, global teams across time zones
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
