Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Cloud Support Engineer I, you'll be part of the Tier 1 support team, managing Zadara’s cloud and on-prem environments:

• 24/7 shift rotation (support schedule)
• Offer technical support via phone, email, or remote for storage/cloud/networking
• Troubleshoot networking, Linux, and cloud issues
• Monitor infrastructure, identify, and resolve system-level incidents
• Collaborate with Support, DevOps, and Engineering teams
• Maintain strong customer relationships
• Create documentation, FAQs, and technical resources

What You Bring

• 2–5 years in technical support (client-facing roles preferred)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English)
• Solid understanding of storage (SAN, NAS, Object) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in Linux administration & troubleshooting
• Familiarity with ITIL V3, incident management
• Effective at multitasking, documentation, and customer empathy
• Must be within commuting distance of the Bangalore office

Education Requirements

• BE / B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Google Cloud Certified
  • Azure Fundamentals
  • CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+
• Scripting: Python, Bash
• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch
• Ticketing: JIRA, Confluence
• A proactive attitude toward customer success & satisfaction
