About the Internship:

As an Engineering Intern, you will be part of Wabtec’s Digital Solutions division, contributing to software development projects in domains such as ports and rail. This is a hands-on internship involving real-world SDLC processes and full-stack development experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of a software module under mentor supervision
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Develop code and write unit and integration tests
• Engage in technical discussions and create proofs of concept
• Participate in the development, debugging, and deployment of software solutions
• Document progress and regularly update stakeholders

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python
• Good understanding of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like AngularJS and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Awareness of Cloud technologies like AWS is a plus
