Job Description:

Verisk is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join our Platform team. You’ll be at the center of our infrastructure evolution, working cross-functionally to optimize pipelines, scale platforms, and ensure system reliability and security.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and enhance platform components.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CDK for Terraform.
• Architect and execute DevOps solutions for CI/CD and automated deployment.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging tech and industry trends.
• Use CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for automation and operations.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps or software development with a focus on infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation; experience with CDK/CDKTF is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and architecture.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TravisCI, or CircleCI.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
