Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. You’ll work cross-functionally with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver reliable solutions for our packaging software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and REST APIs
• Collaborate with frontend teams and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, testable, and efficient Java code using Spring Boot and related technologies
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend components
• Maintain clear documentation for APIs, designs, and system changes
• Participate in agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2–3 years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and OOP principles
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and agile environment

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)
• Awareness of backend security best practices
