🛠️ Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – NOC Specialist, you’ll support 24x7 delivery of hosted and SaaS applications for Fortune 500 clients at cloud scale. You’ll monitor and manage critical systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and proactive issue resolution.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• System Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee applications on Windows and Linux servers, ensuring health and performance.
• Incident Management: Own and resolve complex, client-facing incidents, collaborating with internal and third-party teams.
• Proactive Measures: Implement preventative measures to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Documentation & Process: Drive documentation initiatives and maintain expertise across infrastructure domains.
• Capacity Planning: Forecast demand and ensure infrastructure scalability for future requirements.
• Change Management: Ensure production changes are fully tested and meet change control standards.

🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years managing systems in a 24x7 production environment.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Windows & Linux administration
  • Networking (firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches)
  • Web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat)
  • Databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Monitoring Tools: Sumo Logic, Logic Monitor
• Ticketing Systems: Salesforce, Remedy, JIRA, TFS
• Strong Analytical Skills: Troubleshoot product, third-party software, and database issues.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
