About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer II (SRE NOC Specialist), you will monitor, maintain, and manage applications in a 24x7 production environment, ensuring system performance, reliability, and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Management: Monitor, maintain, and manage applications on Windows and Linux servers.
• System Health & Performance: Track system health, implement proactive measures, and prevent downtime.
• On-Call Support: Provide 24x7 production support and collaborate with global teams.
• Infrastructure Expertise: Maintain knowledge across databases, applications, networking, storage, and systems.
• Incident Management: Own and resolve client-facing major incidents, engaging multiple teams and third-party vendors.
• Root Cause Analysis: Ensure problem management, prevent recurrence, and prioritize solutions with clear business cases.
• Change Control: Document, test production changes, and meet audit requirements.
• Capacity Planning: Forecast and plan for future demand to maintain system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience managing 24x7 production environments.
• Strong System Engineering Skills: Hands-on administration and support for Windows and Linux servers.
• Networking & Security Expertise: Experience with firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco, F5).
• Web & Database Technologies: Support for IIS, Apache, Tomcat, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Application Monitoring: Knowledge of observability best practices and cloud platform KPIs/metrics.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Sumo Logic, Logic Monitor, or similar tools.
• Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with Salesforce, Remedy, JIRA, and TFS.
• Excellent Communication: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
