Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at Trellix, you’ll join a fast-paced agile team working on large-scale, distributed systems using modern backend technologies. The role emphasizes proficiency in Python, Java, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services using Python and Java
• Design and deploy microservices within a cloud-native environment
• Develop in Docker, deploy on Kubernetes
• Utilize AWS or GCP cloud services for application deployment
• Write efficient, maintainable, and secure backend code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize large systems
• Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated delivery
• Collaborate in Agile teams to continuously improve product architecture

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of backend development experience in Python and Java
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on with AWS or GCP deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service design
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Version control experience (e.g., Git)
• Excellent debugging and communication skills
• Adaptable to fast-changing, Agile environments
