Job Description

Tractable is hiring experienced Software Engineers to take end-to-end ownership of scalable software solutions. You'll be involved in the entire SDLC—from coding and testing to deployment, debugging, and production support.

This is a hands-on role involving TypeScript, Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and modern front-end frameworks like React and Remix.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers in cross-functional teams
• Write clean, testable code and conduct peer reviews
• Participate in agile development practices and on-call rotations
• Improve codebase performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Apply modern DevOps and CI/CD methodologies

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in TypeScript (Must-Have)
• Proficiency in Python and React/Remix
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of HTTP APIs, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent debugging and system design skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative teams

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years in software engineering (product development & support)
• Hands-on experience in cloud-native development
• Familiarity with distributed systems and infrastructure tooling
• Experience working in a multicultural or global team
