Position Overview

As a Software Engineer - JavaScript, you will be responsible for resolving and correcting issues within the TraceLink product. You will also create patches to resolve customer issues, ensuring the product remains high-quality and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high availability solutions
• Contribute to the continual improvement of TraceLink's architecture
• Analyze and resolve customer-reported problems escalated to engineering
• Create patches for customer-reported issues
• Collaborate with the QA team to fix and verify defects
• Follow TraceLink's documented software development life cycle methodology
• Work closely with the engineering team and customer support

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Experience in software development using Java
• Experience in developing web services and web-based APIs
• Familiarity with software development best practices (version control, defect tracking, unit testing)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning and problem-solving
• Excellent diagnostic skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in building cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience in Scala software development
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
