Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II, you'll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the Datamesh application on the Opus platform, collaborating in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software design, development, code reviews, and testing
• Write clean, efficient, and testable Java code
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Maintain predictable velocity and ensure feature quality
• Collaborate on backlog estimation and sprint planning
• Demonstrate strong ownership in delivering features
• Actively engage in all phases of the SDLC

Requirements

• 2–4 years experience in web application development
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Proficiency in Java development and debugging
• Familiar with functional/unit testing practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket
• Preferred: RxJava, Kafka, S3, message-driven architecture
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fast learner with adaptability to emerging technologies
