DevOps Intern – Syfe

The Opportunity

Syfe is seeking a motivated DevOps Intern to support the DevOps team in maintaining and scaling cloud infrastructure. This role involves working with AWS, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps automation processes. Candidates with hands-on cloud or scripting knowledge will be strongly preferred.

What You Will Do

• Assist in deploying, scaling, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and reliable application deployment.
• Support the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy workloads using HELM.
• Use Git for version control and deployment management.
• Participate in designing DevOps platform solutions using open-source tools or custom scripts.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of Linux and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language: Bash, Golang, or Python.
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Nice To Have

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in AWS or Linux.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, HELM, and container orchestration.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or other IaC tools.
