About the Role
The Associate System Engineer role in our Pune office focuses on managing user accounts for vendors. You’ll play a key role in helping vendors access the right tools and services, ensuring seamless license management and proper system access. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those starting their career in IT.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts in Springer Nature’s proprietary user management system.
- Administer Active Directory, EntraID, Microsoft 365, and Okta for user account management.
- Work with vendor account managers to ensure users have proper access and can perform their tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with other teams to arrange access for users to various applications and services.
- Improve processes for user management.
- Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date.
- Support global teams and work with outsourced staff.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with Active Directory, EntraID, Okta, Exchange Online, Office365.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MacOS.
- Basic understanding of identity concepts.
- Working knowledge of ITIL methods.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent documentation experience.
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
