About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Cloud TechOps team, you’ll help maintain and improve the infrastructure behind Splunk’s large-scale cloud platform. The TechOps team is responsible for monitoring and resolving issues to ensure top-notch availability and performance for our customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the Splunk Cloud fleet.
  • Perform impact assessments and structured problem-solving.
  • Document issues and remediation steps for future reference.
  • Handle functional requests and communicate with TechOps engineers and partners.
  • Assist peers on complex issues during shifts.
  • Use internal tools to restore service during incidents.
  • Ensure quality customer experience by responding proactively to issues.
  • Identify and solve problems that appear at scale in distributed systems.
  • Contribute to process automation and service improvement.

Requirements
