Job Overview:
SITA, a global leader in air transport IT, is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their fast-paced Infrastructure/Platform team. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to automate and manage cloud-based and on-prem systems in the aviation domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate software lifecycle using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Own deployment processes and ensure operational readiness of products
- Manage environments: Dev, Test, Production
- Collaborate with developers, testers, delivery leads for troubleshooting
- Work with both cloud (Azure) and on-prem application stacks
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in Agile Scrum rituals and document new features
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Ansible, Kubernetes, RHEL Linux
- Experience supporting Java-based applications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture and services
- Strong understanding of automation, troubleshooting, infrastructure monitoring
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, LDAP
- Experience with Terraform
- Familiarity with HA (High Availability), Scalability, Resiliency concepts
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, ITIL, Operational support models
