Job Overview

Are you passionate about building scalable, microservice-based infrastructure that empowers developers? SingleStore is hiring a Platform Engineer (Infrastructure) to help shape the backbone of our engineering productivity systems. This role focuses on CI/CD optimization, distributed applications, and cloud-native operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy observable, microservice-oriented applications for internal engineering use
• Improve CI/CD pipelines: throughput, reliability, and debugging
• Implement productivity tools that accelerate global engineering performance
• Operate across multi-cloud and on-premise environments
• Champion developer experience through tools, automation, and infrastructure design

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with languages like Python, Go, JavaScript, or C/C++
• Experience in building and scaling distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and cloud provisioning
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux environments and networking
• Passion for software quality, testing efficiency, and developer empathy

Good to Have:

• Experience managing multi-tenant systems and cloud-native workloads
• Familiarity with database and storage layers
• Background in improving developer tools, deployment flows, and internal platforms
