What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer I (Java), you will:

• Build and deliver innovative, high-performance features for next-gen cloud-based apps.
• Develop scalable, maintainable backend solutions using Java (Java 11+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code following SOLID and OOP principles.
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and participate in agile sprints.
• Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and designers globally.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production incidents.
• Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Be involved in performance tuning, monitoring, and quality engineering.
• Drive technical excellence with unit tests, mocking, logging, exception handling, and more.

Requirements

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in backend software development with Java.
• Strong in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and web services (REST, SOA).
• Experience in:
  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, AOP, Spring Security
  • Hibernate/JPA, SQL/NoSQL databases
  • JUnit, Mockito, or similar test frameworks
• DevOps mindset with knowledge in CI/CD, monitoring, and performance metrics.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or gRPC.
• Open-source contributions, personal repositories, or technical certifications.
• Experience with globally scaled Agile environments.
