Job Description
Join the R&D team to develop state-of-the-art power analysis and optimization tools for Mentor Compiler front-end modules. You will primarily work on C++ and flex/bison to design, develop, and implement software solutions involving HDL languages like Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end software components for EDA tools
• Work with HDL languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL) and low power synthesis formats (UPF/CPF)
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely software releases
• Troubleshoot and solve complex design and implementation challenges
• Document software designs and workflows

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming and software design patterns
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with parallel algorithms and job distribution techniques
• Experience with HDL languages and understanding of gate-level digital design
• Knowledge of flex/bison parsing tools
• Analytical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

• Experience in front-end EDA software development
• Knowledge of power-aware synthesis and power format standards
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
