Job Description:
SHL is looking for an AI Research Intern to work on cutting-edge AI/ML challenges in natural language processing (NLP), speech processing, and computer vision. This internship provides hands-on experience with AI research and product development, with a potential full-time opportunity based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Work on AI/ML models in NLP, speech, and vision using deep learning.
• Prototype Generative AI models like LLMs, RAG, and multimodal AI.
• Assist in developing AI/ML solutions for real-world applications.
• Implement orchestration frameworks and performance monitoring tools.
• Collaborate on scalable ML models and integration into production.
• Contribute to data collection, annotation, and validation.
• Participate in research paper contributions and documentation.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Availability for a full-time internship (3-6 months).
• Strong coding skills, preferably in Python.
• Experience with AI/ML projects.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Desirable:

• Experience in NLP, computer vision, or speech processing.
• Knowledge of Generative AI models, LLMs, and deep learning techniques.
• Understanding of statistical modeling, mathematical optimization, and ML fairness principles.
