About the Role

Scopely is hiring a Software Engineer (Java) to join the Bingo Bash team in Bangalore. You'll work on one of India’s top-grossing F2P games and develop new features to engage millions of players.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend features and infrastructure
• Work across the full stack (client to backend systems)
• Diagnose production issues and provide support
• Follow and define engineering best practices
• Be an integral part of a DevOps-driven culture
• Collaborate with cross-functional game teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of Java development experience
• Must be able to work with Apache Tomcat, Maven, JDK, MySQL (local and remote)
• Expertise in Multithreading, Collections, Socket Programming
• Strong grasp of OOPS, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Proficient in problem solving, data structures, and algorithms
• Self-motivated and adaptable to new tech
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration
• Agile/Scrum team experience
• Passion for gaming industry
