Role Overview

Sapiens is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Bangalore to support the development, testing, and live deployment of our core suite product in the Life and Pension software division. You will play a pivotal role in improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based deployment for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust DevOps pipelines with 100% automation
• Support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration, testing, and delivery
• Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
• Optimize containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Fabric
• Configure and monitor tools like JFrog, SonarQube, and Octopus Deploy
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux (CentOS/RedHat) and Windows environments
• Manage and optimize CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Git, SVN, Maven)
• Monitor application health and ensure high availability using cloud-native services
• Support database performance and versioning (nice to have)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles with expertise in C++, Java, Go, or Python
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS and/or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with containerization, microservices, and orchestration tools
• Strong scripting ability in Shell, Python, PowerShell, or Go
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD systems: Jenkins, Git, Maven
• Familiarity with Tomcat, Spring Boot, and Linux systems
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
