Job Description:

Sapiens is hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Property & Casualty Insurance division in Bangalore. As part of a global leader in intelligent insurance software, you'll manage CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and work on mission-critical systems that support digital insurance transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and evolve CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Automate infrastructure provisioning in AWS and Azure
• Administer source control tools like Git, SVN, and ClearCase
• Handle Linux-based J2EE environments (JBoss, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL)
• Configure and manage DevOps tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.)
• Document technical procedures and support deployment strategies
• Support web servers like Nginx and Apache

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of DevOps engineering experience
• Proficient in shell scripting (Bash, Python preferred)
• Strong experience in Linux administration
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows
• Understanding of ALM, networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, SSL)
• Familiarity with databases: Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure AZ-900/AZ-104
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Knowledge of application servers (JBoss, Tomcat) and build tools (Maven, Ant)
• Exposure to Groovy, Perl, PowerShell, or JavaScript scripting
• Understanding of DevOps security best practices
