Position: System & Security Engineer (DevOps Engineer)

Experience Level: Fresher to 2 Years
Work Mode: Onsite – Mohali, Punjab, India
Working Days: 5 Days (Monday to Friday)
Job Type: Full-Time

The System & Security Engineer will play a key role in managing RChilli’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and operational efficiency across systems and cloud environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level engineers passionate about Linux administration, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity, looking to grow into a DevOps or IT Security Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network & Infrastructure Support

• Configure and monitor Unifi (USG) for VPN, IDS/IPS, and secure traffic management.
• Coordinate with broadband vendors (Airtel, Connect, Jio) to maintain uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot internal LAN/Wi-Fi, manage access points, and track bandwidth usage.

2. System Administration

• Provide first-level IT support via the Service Desk Tool.
• Manage asset inventory, software patching, and workstation setup.
• Use ManageEngine Endpoint for installations, tracking, and monitoring.
• Leverage Prey Inc. for endpoint tracking and device recovery.

3. Linux & Server Administration

• Perform command-line operations including user management, log analysis, and cron jobs.
• Maintain and monitor Linux servers hosted on AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Assist in system patching, backups, and security hardening.

4. Security & Access Management

• Manage 1Password for secure credential storage.
• Maintain MFA and SSO across G Suite, Bitbucket, Jira, and Zoom.
• Use Teramind Dashboard for policy compliance monitoring.
• Conduct vulnerability testing with Burp Suite and assist in remediation.

5. Cloud & Application Support

• Manage Bitbucket repositories, CI/CD coordination, and user access.
• Support IAM policy reviews, logging, and secure configurations on AWS / GCP / OCI.
• Maintain API and Cloud endpoint security in line with company policies.

6. Collaboration & IT Support

• Manage access for users on G Suite, SharePoint, Whale, Jira, and Zoom.
• Support employee onboarding and IT setup.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT security and governance policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0–2 years experience in System Administration, IT Support, or Security Operations.
• Strong understanding of Linux commands, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and endpoint tools.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of ManageEngine, Bitbucket, 1Password, and IT ticketing tools.
• Awareness of IT Security principles, MFA, and DLP.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred:

• Certifications in AWS / CompTIA Security+ / Linux / ITIL.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and automation environments.
