Job Overview – DevOps Engineer

RChilli Inc. is hiring a DevOps Engineer (1–2 Years of Experience) to join its dynamic engineering team in Mohali, Punjab (Onsite).
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) that requires flexibility to work in a 24x7 cloud production environment.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure while working closely with software developers and system administrators to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across Oracle Cloud, GCP, AWS, and Azure platforms.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, YAML, and Manifest for reliable deployments.
• Automate deployments using Kubernetes clusters to reduce manual intervention.
• Deploy and manage Docker containers, creating and maintaining multiple images via Docker Hub.
• Use Ansible for configuration management, writing playbooks and roles for migration and setup tasks.
• Work with version control systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, or Git for code management.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications using New Relic, Prometheus, and Site24x7.
• Manage SQL databases such as MySQL, Cloud SQL, Oracle SQL, and MSSQL, including backup and recovery.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application performance, monitoring, and deployment.
• Configure and maintain web servers such as Apache Tomcat, NGINX, and Apache HTTPD.
• Implement security protocols and policies for data protection and compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and ensure high availability and low downtime.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps and cloud computing technologies.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in SaaS companies is a plus.
