Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Incident Management, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Qualys infrastructure and services across multiple data centers. Your primary role will be to troubleshoot, repair, and restore services quickly when there’s any malfunction in products or services, ensuring maximum service availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and capacity using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Troubleshoot platform/product issues and determine their cause.
• Manage incident tickets and provide timely resolution, tracking progress through tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
• Automate tasks and improve processes where applicable.
• Escalate complex issues to management, IT resources, or third-party vendors.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation for incidents and resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and other technical teams to ensure faster resolutions.
• Work in a 24/7 environment with a rotating shift schedule.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in IT Operations, Infra/System Admin, or Linux (Freshers are welcome to apply).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, PagerDuty, Runscope.
• Basic knowledge of Incident Management (IM) processes and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally across teams.
• Certifications in Linux, System Admin, VMware, IT Security, or ITIL/ITSM are a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps/SRE, Python, and Cloud is beneficial.
