Role Overview:

As a Junior Applications Engineer, you’ll support the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Eastern, and Southern Europe markets with technical expertise on QSC’s products and solutions. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a couple of years of industry experience. You’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills while ensuring customers receive the highest level of support and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Support: Provide top-tier technical support to UK systems integrators, consultants, and end users.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including software, hardware, programming, commissioning, and network configuration.
• Training & Documentation: Deliver QSC training content and document technical knowledge in manuals and notes.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., product managers) to escalate unresolved issues and contribute to market research, customer surveys, and competitor analysis.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring full system functionality after troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (internships or co-op placements are acceptable).
• Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience (internships, co-op placements) is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of audio, video, or networking technologies is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to various audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English (verbal and written).

• Certifications such as Q-SYS, Cisco, Dante, or programming courses are a plus.
