Role Overview:

As a Senior Web DevOps Engineer, you’ll work with a talented team of software and firmware engineers to develop and support Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager—a remote monitoring and management web platform. You’ll be responsible for architecting and developing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development workflow, improve build infrastructure, and ensure high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Architect and develop CI/CD pipelines for Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager.
• Automation & Scalability: Assist in building automated infrastructure focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Deployment Process Improvement: Improve the deployment workflow for software developers and SQA teams to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers to integrate new features and releases smoothly.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for deployment processes and procedures.
• Stay Updated: Continuously improve processes by staying up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a software development environment with 5+ years in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, JavaScript, Python, and Linux shell scripts.
  • Expertise in Linux software development workflows, administration, and application deployment.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and managing Kubernetes.
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
  • Strong experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or any git-based tools.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment of microservice-based cloud applications.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, or other monitoring/logging tools.
• Familiarity with Cloud-to-Cloud migration, bicep, and Node.js.
• Experience with VMware, KVM, libvirt virtualization technologies.
