Job Summary

As an Intern SRE, you will be part of the core Enterprise Operations Center supporting critical infrastructure services. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, measuring performance, and engaging in proactive issue resolution across services, with a strong focus on collaboration and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure services for operational availability
• Optimize system performance and identify innovations to meet customer needs
• Engage in Major Incident Management, triaging issues and resolving outages
• Conduct Change Control Board meetings and Problem Management
• Collaborate with platform teams to improve monitoring and alerting systems
• Automate tasks using tools like Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Terraform
• Report key metrics such as QoS, uptime, MTTR, and MTBF
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions to prevent future issues
• 24/5 support including on-call during weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Computer Science or related field
• Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience in SRE or Infrastructure support
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, OpsGenie
  • Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodology
• Experience with JIRA, JSM, Confluence
