Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer (AWS) at Particle41, you will play a key role in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline design, and production system reliability. You will work closely with customer engineering teams to build, deploy, secure, and scale enterprise-grade cloud platforms.

This role is ideal for engineers experienced in AWS DevOps, Kubernetes engineering, Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, and high-performance distributed systems, with a passion for automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, cloud engineers, and IT operations teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Pulumi, and Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, with exposure to Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Implement DevOps automation to improve deployment speed, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Operate and maintain Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration platforms
• Build and manage monitoring, logging, and performance optimization solutions
• Ensure cloud security, access control, vulnerability management, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, production incidents, and system outages
• Participate in on-call rotations to support mission-critical enterprise systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps pipelines, and automation frameworks
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based application deployment
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems
• Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Certifications (Preferred)

Experience or certification in enterprise cloud platforms is highly valued, including credentials such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
