This role offers hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, automation, and high-availability systems, supporting millions of users across 49+ countries. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow in high-paying DevOps, cloud engineering, and platform reliability roles within a global product-based company.

Salary & Package Details

India Salary: ₹15,00,000 – ₹28,00,000 per annum (based on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance)
Abroad Salary: Competitive global packages for internal mobility and international roles (as applicable)

Job Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer at ParentPay Group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that enable faster, more reliable, and secure software releases across multiple product teams.

You will automate build, test, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve release consistency. The role involves managing and optimizing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring scalability, performance, cost optimization, and security best practices.

You will design and implement cost-effective, scalable, and secure cloud solutions to support high-traffic web and mobile applications used by schools, parents, and students. You will set up and maintain monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog to ensure system health, uptime, and proactive incident detection.

A key part of this role is implementing DevSecOps practices, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with data protection and financial regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS, which are critical for secure online payments and sensitive student data.

You will respond to production incidents, perform detailed root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive measures. You will also maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to streamline development workflows, improve deployment reliability, and promote DevOps culture and best practices across the organization.

You will also write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and YAML, improving operational efficiency and reducing system downtime.

Skills Required

Candidates must have strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is essential.

You should be proficient in scripting and automation, including Bash, Python, PowerShell, and YAML. Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates is required to manage scalable and repeatable cloud environments.

A solid understanding of version control systems such as Git and SVN is necessary. Experience working in cloud-native, security-sensitive environments is highly valued.

Eligibility & Experience

Candidates should have relevant experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer in a production environment.

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD automation, monitoring tools, and security compliance frameworks is expected. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.

Career Growth & Future Scope

This role provides a strong pathway into senior and leadership positions in DevOps and cloud engineering. Engineers can progress into roles such as Senior DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Cloud Architect, Platform Engineering Lead, or DevSecOps Specialist.

With exposure to global-scale systems, secure payment platforms, and education technology ecosystems, this role supports long-term career growth in high-CPC, high-paying software engineering domains both in India and internationally.

Company Industry & Market Value

ParentPay Group is Europe’s largest education technology company and the UK’s leading EdTech provider. The company supports millions of parents, teachers, and students through secure digital platforms that manage payments, student information, and school operations.

With 11 integrated brands, global operations across 49+ countries, and a strong focus on cloud-native, secure, and scalable software products, ParentPay Group operates in a high-growth, high-impact industry. Its Pune office serves as a modern technology hub offering international exposure, agile development practices, and long-term career stability.
