OPT IT – DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and IT Infrastructure teams to gather and document migration requirements.
• Assess and design new products, integrating them into the overall environment.
• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS-based systems until application cutover.
• Ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of migrated systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
• Support build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
• Drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools, and processes.
• Support enterprise web and other applications.
• Provide after-hours emergency on-call support.
• Transition products to the Operations Team post-cutover.
• Prepare detailed documentation for each build.

Requirements:

• BE/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, software, cloud migration, integration, hosting, and consulting.
• Strong experience with Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD processes.
• Proficient with AWS cloud platform.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with source control management tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Strong troubleshooting and triaging skills for development and production issues.
