Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior HPC Support Engineer – Ethernet, passionate about data center and networking technologies, to support complex customer installations and provide in-depth technical assistance for NVIDIA’s advanced networking solutions.

You’ll work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NVIDIA Ethernet Switching and AI End-to-End Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical issues using research, reproduction, and in-depth troubleshooting
• Support customers via phone, email, calls, and occasional site visits
• Assist in installation, operation, maintenance, and interoperability with third-party systems
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams
• Create and maintain best practices and documentation for internal use
• Provide insights into product improvements from customer feedback

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support for hardware/software in large-scale environments
• Strong Linux administration and networking experience (LFCS/RHCSA preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3 (ARP, STP, LACP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Familiarity with switch/router platforms (Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, EOS, JunosOS)
• Experience with tools like TCPDUMP, Wireshark, or similar
• Understanding of data center virtualization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, RoCE, and QoS
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE-DC/ENT, RHCE, LFCS
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ansible, YAML)
• Deep troubleshooting and debugging methodology

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $108,000 – $201,250 (based on location & experience)
