Job Overview – AWS Cloud Engineer (Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure)

We are hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is suited for professionals with strong hands-on experience managing production-grade AWS environments, cloud security, networking, automation, and cost optimization.

You will work on high-availability cloud architectures, supporting business-critical workloads across compute, storage, networking, and security layers, while ensuring compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities – What You Will Do

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices for scalability, reliability, and security
• Work extensively with EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ELB/ALB/NLB, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Manage multi-tier application architectures in production AWS environments

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement IAM roles, policies, least-privilege access, MFA, and encryption (KMS)
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and regulatory standards
• Support audits, security reviews, and compliance checks

Networking & Connectivity

• Design and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, DNS (Route 53)
• Configure load balancing, firewalls, routing, and secure connectivity

Automation & Scripting

• Automate cloud operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation
• Reduce manual effort through automation and standardized templates

Monitoring, DR & Cost Optimization

• Monitor systems using CloudWatch, AWS logs, alerts, and metrics
• Conduct AWS Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, manage DR environments
• Optimize cloud costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and budgeting tools

DevOps & Cloud Operations (Good to Have)

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, EKS, ECS)
• Support cloud-native deployments and modern DevOps practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3.5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience in production environments
• Strong expertise in AWS EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ELB, Lambda, CloudFormation
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration on cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, routing, load balancing)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator
• Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, multi-account strategies
• Exposure to enterprise cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices

• Experience supporting global enterprise clients or managed cloud services
