Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to build and maintain scalable, highly available, and high-performing systems.
• Assist in improving deployment and scaling processes.
• Work with Development and QA teams to support automation of infrastructure, deployments, and pipeline delivery.
• Work independently when necessary, assisting other team members with system and infrastructure-related issues.
• Monitor production systems and resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• BS in Computer Science or a comparable program.
• Hands-on experience in running 24x7 production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Azure cloud administration (VMs, networking, storage, etc.).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with Azure ADO CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• Working knowledge of Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues in cloud environments.
• Good writing and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge supporting relational & NOSQL databases.

Expected Competencies:

• Hands-on operational expertise with Containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and supporting tools.
• Experience with DevOps toolsets and Linux administration.
• Experience supporting 24x7 high-traffic sites.
• Knowledge of CI/CD application delivery systems.
• Knowledge of IT process automation such as backup and recovery, and deployment.
• Experience maintaining system and application monitoring applications.
• Solid documentation and project management skills.
