Role: DevSecOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and automate security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Perform container security audits and help design secure Kubernetes clusters.
• Conduct security testing, threat modeling, and compliance checks.
• Automate DevSecOps workflows using Bash and Python scripting.
• Contribute to security policy development and cloud configuration hardening.
• Collaborate with Developers, SREs, and Operations teams to integrate secure design principles.
• Participate in incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring improvements.
• Learn and grow into a Kubernetes Security Engineer (CKS) within one year.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Cybersecurity
• Programming: Strong in Bash and Python scripting
• Ability to build Docker images from scratch
• Understanding of Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of web vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL Injection, SSRF, XXE)
• Familiarity with authentication standards (SAML, OAuth, JWT)
• Must be passionate about cybersecurity and automation

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with container security tools (Aqua, Trivy, Clair)
• Contributions to open-source projects or bug bounty programs
