Job Summary:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across NetApp's enterprise-class products including FAS, AFF, and Hybrid Cloud solutions. You will interact directly with global customers, supporting critical infrastructure and enabling next-gen data center success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across NetApp’s storage product lines
• Analyze system logs and crash dumps to identify root causes
• Work with Level 1/2 support engineers and escalate complex cases
• Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to knowledge base articles
• Engage via multiple support channels: phone, chat, email, web
• Guide customers in real-time to minimize downtime
• Participate in on-call rotations if required
• Help enhance support workflows, automation, and tooling

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in UNIX/Linux, storage administration, or technical support
• Strong understanding of at least two:
  • RAID Concepts, SAN/NAS, NetApp ONTAP, Cluster-Mode Storage, NVMe-oF
  • Windows/Linux Systems Administration
  • Enterprise apps like Oracle, SAP, MS Exchange
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
  • Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with ticketing/case management systems
• Mentoring ability and team collaboration mindset

• NetApp Storage Software Suite
• NetApp Data Protection Tools
• Data tiering and cloud-integrated storage solutions
• Familiarity with automation, ActiveIQ tools, or scripting
